The Holy Spirit, Our Helper – John 14:15–26

In John 14:15–26, on the eve of His crucifixion, Jesus comforts His disciples with the promise that they will not be left as orphans. The Father will give them another Helper, the Holy Spirit, who will dwell with them and be in them.
The message above explores the relationship between love for Christ, obedience to His commands, and the presence and ministry of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is not an impersonal force but God Himself, dwelling with and within His people, teaching us, reminding us of Christ’s words, and making the presence of Jesus real to us.
The Christian life is not lived through our own strength. Jesus has given His people the Holy Spirit, the divine Helper who teaches, comforts, empowers, and leads us into the truth.
