In Matthew 15:1–9, Jesus confronts the Pharisees over their elevation of human tradition above the Word of God. What appears outwardly religious is exposed as empty when the heart is far from Him. This message walks through Jesus’ sharp rebuke, showing how misplaced priorities can distort true worship.
Quoting Isaiah, Jesus declares, “This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.” This passage calls us to examine whether our faith is rooted in genuine devotion or merely external practice. True worship flows from a heart transformed by God’s truth, not from traditions that replace it.
Watch the message here and be challenged to pursue a faith that is sincere, obedient, and centered on God’s Word.
