Learning to Pray – Matthew 6:5–15

In Matthew 6:5-15, Jesus invites His disciples into a deeper, truer life of prayer. Rather than performative or empty words, Jesus teaches us to pray with sincerity, trust, and dependence on our Father in heaven. At the center of this passage is the Lord’s Prayer - a model that shapes not just what we say to God, but how we live before Him.

This message walks through Jesus’ teaching on prayer, highlighting God’s fatherly care, the priority of His kingdom, and the grace that fuels forgiveness and daily reliance. This passage calls us to slow down, reorient our hearts, and learn to pray as beloved children who know they are heard.
